Kenny Kerner, the producer who acted as an early advocate for Kiss and co-produced the band’s first two albums with his production partner Richie Wise, has reportedly passed away due to complications from diabetes.
Kerner's son seems to have confirmed the news of his death, which was lamented in a Facebook post from the band that reads, "We are shocked to hear of Kenny Kerner's passing."

A 3rd Solo Album

Paul Stanley says he wants to record a third solo album – his first since 2006's Live To Win.
And he says the project would be much more like his first – 1978's Paul Stanley.

Peter And Zombie

In a greatly anticipated one-off collaboration, former KISS drummer Peter Criss joined metal icon Rob Zombie onstage last night (May 10) in New Jersey.
Zombie and his band were on hand to perform at the 93.3 WMMR Barbeque in Camden when, near the end of their set, they were joined by the Catman to perform the KISS classic, ‘God of Thunder.’
Zombie said. “So tonight, it is our great honor to bring to you the one and only Catman, Mr. Peter Criss.”
去る5月10日、米ニュージャージーで行われたロブ・ゾンビのコンサートに元キッスのドラマー、ピーター・クリスがゲスト出演し、一緒にキッスの「雷神」を演奏しました。ロブ・ゾンビは、観客にピーターを次の様に紹介しました。「レディース＆ジェントルメン、もしおまえたちがオレみたいな奴だったら、この前は、すごく落胆したと思う。ロックの殿堂をチェックしたのに、オレの大好きなドラマーがドラムの後ろにいる姿を見ることはできなかっからだ。だから今夜、唯一無二のキャットマン、ミスター・ピーター・クリスをここに迎えることができ、ものすごく光栄だ。」　ステージに登場したピーター自身はメイクなしだったが、ゾンビを除くほかのメンバーはピーター・クリスに敬意を表しキャットマンのマスクを着け曲をプレイしました。
