KISS' 4th studio album, 1976's "Destroyer," has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America as of Sept. 9. According to the RIAA website, this is the first KISS album to be certified since the KISS box set in December 2001. "Destroyer" was certified gold and platinum by the association on April 22, 1976, and Nov. 11, 1976, respectively.

1976年に発売されたキッスの4枚目のアルバム「地獄の軍団」が、去る9月9日に米国レコード工業会によってダブルプラチナ・レコードに認定されました。 米国レコード工業会の公式サイトによると、キッスにとってダブルプラチナ認定は、2001年12月に発売された「キッス・ボックスセット」以来のこととなります。 なお、アルバム「地獄の軍団」は、1976年4月22日にゴールド・レコードを、そして1976年11月11日にプラチナ・レコードをそれぞれ獲得しています。
